Boom >>

Eh.... not really a boom, less than a sizzle infact, but meh. By merely following a guide, each person did a unique animation with 1-2 moving characters. Nothing special, but meh. >.>

A Wee Bit Late ._.

Sooooo, just found out about the animation blog, meh. When it comes to animation, many things dictate what makes thing good or not, specifically, ones opinions. If it came to animation, there are many games/videos to note. However, I like to think that the sound/voice/plot/how well everything flows are just important. If it were to come to this, CW: Down to Earth Pt.1 is definitely my favorite. Unforunately, there are no sites that have this video that the school has not blocked, but, eitherway.....

A small warning, there is a rather small amount of language within the video, but meh....
Hmmm, want to add a few pics of my WoW character... recently switched to Destro as my locks raid spec after raiding as Demonology for the past year and 1/2... meh, definitely easier than Affliction, but that's probably due to the fact that I'm used to such a right rotation. Aaaaaalso, I recently became the Warlock Class master in my guild :o

Meh, prefer Wow-heroes.com, but nooooooo, it doesn't keep individual pages >:(

Adding Sound >.>

Mhmmmmm, the most recent assignment that we have recieved was to add sound to a button, and a guided flash. After the comp decided to make a fool of me and randomly go boom when I'd try to use a sound, the compy finally said ok, and all was good in the world..... meh. Eitherway, I thought it was actually pretty fun, but meh. For the.... actually thinking of transferring to Alliance when Worgen come out.... I know I'll have to wait awhile, but still.... I'd prolly only switch my Death Knight anyway.

~Insert Name Here~

Overall, I have found this class to be rather enjoyable. The grading system pretty much forces you to actually work, which I like very much so, and honestly, I don't have any complaints. I had been telling a few others aquaintances to join, but they constantly ranted that such a class would be too boring. To these people, I laugh.

Technology=Evil

Soooo, for a short period we were forced out of our main room and were incapable of doing any work on our respective games. Hmmm, scheduling error seems more accurate, but I guess we had a few technical diffilculties, but meh. As a side note, I would like to point out that my Mac is evil incarnate.
1. It has a voice program that yells when it finishes loading or something.... and mis-pronounces my name...
2. Freezes randomly
3.Yells at me while I play WoW >< Ooook, maybe the last one is an exageration, but still, it is evil.....

Drawing with flash >>

After my inital flash fail at drawing, I read the "How to" guide once again ._.
Aaaanywho, even though its not exactly a work of art.... and prolly should never be called art, ever.... a disgrace... anywho, learned a few things, and quite a joyous time playing with it >.>

Prototype

So, after working on the respective slides/sheets, we began the paper prototype for the game. Although it didn't exactly come out as planned, its.... meh, yea yea, meh, anywho, since I apparently fail at posting vids here, I'll just post the actual link to our page ><

Meh

For the group I'm in, I was given the job of information design/architect, I was also told to put the teams time-line together. I'm sure I'll turn this into a disaster somehow. Coincidentally, if the wiki explodes due to some unforeseen event, not my fault >>

Conglameratorynationableism, yep, I have a patent on that

Anywho, R'lyeh kinda exploded and me/JD are now leeching off of the Elite Shuffle, yep, good times :o

Mini Game, yes yes, I know, uncreative title ftw

After a horribly failed actionscript attempt, we decided to just go through with it and finish the mini game. As always, I'm not exactly great when it comes to stretching out explanations of what only takes a single sentence to say, meh. Yada yada yada, for the Horde :P

Blah-blah-blog

Sooooo, I recently added 3 blogs to my list, hrmmm, yea
http://cynicalmonkey.gamerlimit.com/2009/09/a-game-design-manifesto-part-1/ Is simply a blog on some thoughts about gaming and questions like "What do I want in a game?".

http://gamedesignreviews.blogspot.com/ As the name states, it is simply a blog with a few design reviews, not much to it but pretty interesting.

http://gamerlimit.com/ A sight with a good deal of game reviews and alot of.... I guess it could be put as gaming "pop culture"? Information on game bans, reviews, and a few other interesting posts.

>.>

We were assigned to play two games, one done by Globaloria students and one done.... more proffesionally I guess, and write reviews of them. Anywho, I ended up going with 2 shooters, September 12th as the "proffesional", and Jimmy vs. The Splurge as the Globaloria game.
September 12th is a game that tries to teach that violence only causes more violence and has nohing but negative repercusions. Although "chibified", it does get it's point across.
Whereas Jimmy vs. The Splurge, promotes healthy eating and urges you to "combat" unhealthy foods. Its an enjoyable game with some humor thrown in. It also expresses it's point rather well.

Globaloria

Hrmm, well okay, first blog that I've done, sooooo yea. I'm doing this for my Digital Imaging class, which is part of Globaloria. Eh, nothing much to say, although I will probably update this rather rapidly whenever I think of something. Until then, for the Horde :P
